An Intro to Singapore Math for Instructors is an overview of the Singapore Math Primary Mathematics curriculum. Appropriate for classroom and homeschooling instructors, this 3 session series provides an understanding of what Singapore Math is teaching, why it teaches those elements, and how it teaches those elements. Taught in three half day sessions, each independent of the others, these sessions help orient instructors to both the big picture goals of each year of elementary math instruction as well as the detailed methods and tasks used in individual lessons. Session 1 is on October 8, 2011 and covers Singapore Math Primary Mathematics, Levels 1A - 2B. Session 2 is on November 12, 2011 and covers Singapore Math Primary Mathematics, Levels 3A - 4B. Each session is from 9 AM - 2 PM, and the fee is $20.00 per session. Sessions are held at CoCo Collaborative and CoWorking Space, Lowertown Saint Paul, 213 East Fourth Street, Suite 400 St. Paul, MInnesota 55101.
